@jules Closing unmerged (Owner, HARD ABORT). This is another restack of the inert-pill tactile class (#1176, #1603, #1611, #1631): hover sweep, translateY and glow on a non-interactive Pill div. Hover affordance on something that can't be clicked misleads visitors and doesn't help hiring; it also adds a build-time getEntry to every Pill, one more always-on flag, a backdated .Jules/jules.md row, and unrelated test-schema churn.

Please stop: do not restack, reopen, or re-propose Pill hover, tactile, sweep, gradient, or elevation effects under any flag name. If you want to help, pick an open spec issue with a Test strategy instead.

Johan (Lead UX) — experience review @ d3540fc: Dual FAIL, please don't merge as is.

Pill is only used for the tag row on case pages (src/pages/work/[...slug].astro), and it renders as a plain <div>. These tags don't link or filter anything. With this PR they'd lift 2px, glow cyan and sweep their gradient on hover, and the flag is set to true in config.json, so it goes straight to prod.

It looks clickable but isn't. A badge that lifts on hover tells the visitor it's a button. They click and nothing happens. That's the fake-affordance pattern we've already said no to (no hover lift or glow on inert pills).
The glow isn't one of our tokens. hsla(210, 100%, 45%, 0.4) is a new hard-coded colour and a new shadow on top of --shadow-md. Our rule is existing tokens first, then at most one elevation step.
It adds decoration, not meaning. The case-page hero should get the visitor to the proof quickly. A gradient sweep on the metadata pulls the eye away from the title and description.

What to do instead (pick one):

Preferred: close this PR and leave the case tags still.
The AI-first option, in its own spec: make each tag a real control that seeds the docked chat with a page-aware question, like "What did Alexander do on here?". Turn it into a <button> with a focus-visible ring and the existing hover token only, with no lift and no glow. Then the hover state promises something that actually happens.

Smaller notes: the content.config.test.ts schema-unwrapping change has nothing to do with the pills, so split it out if it's needed. And the .Jules/jules.md entry is backdated to 2026-08-27.

What I checked and found fine: the hire path is untouched (LinkedIn only, no mailto, no CV PDF), overlay 69ca717 is untouched, chat stays at the bottom, there's no title or bio change, and #800 is untouched. Reduced-motion handling is good, but it doesn't fix the problem above.

Johan OWN FAIL (comment 6090056637). This adds hover lift, glow and a gradient sweep to inert case tag pills, with a hard-coded colour and shadow instead of tokens, and enable_pill_sweep_v1 is ON, so it would go live on merge. That breaks the owner taste lock: no glow or tactile cues on inert pills. Same class as #1262, #1344, #1603 and #1597.

No Jules restack. A real version needs a separate spec where the tags become actual buttons that start a page-aware chat question.
