Why it fails the bar: .chat-toggle already has hover/focus-visible affordance on main. A flag-gated spring scale does not help hiring managers evaluate Alexander as a DevEx PM — it is decorative chrome from the Aurora delights farm, not visitor value. This is Aurora “tactile” farm chrome on the chat FAB: enable_chat_toggle_tactile_v1 flipped true, hover scale(1.08) with spring overshoot cubic-bezier(0.34, 1.56, 0.64, 1), active scale(0.95), plus a backdated .Jules/Aurora/delights.md row (2026-06-11). Same bounce-on-chrome class as closed Theme Toggle Bounce (#873) and the broader Aurora micro-interaction farm — not a scored visitor-experience lift.

Why it fails the bar:

• Motion should answer a press, not decorate hover. Elevated taste + Nick lock: no bounce / spring overshoot on chrome. The FAB already has a real outline hover; chat close/clear already use a quiet active scale (~0.96) behind reduced-motion. Shipped CTA tactile only adds press (translateY(2px) scale(0.98)), not a spring hover pop.
• Flag-on-by-default ships AI-slop motion without making the hire path, docked chat, or proof clearer for visitors.
• Not tied to a scored UX spec.

Hire LinkedIn path, chat dock, overlay frost, and title copy are untouched — the fail is the motion itself.

If tactile press on the FAB is ever wanted, match existing chrome: active only, ~0.96–0.98, ease (no overshoot), reduced-motion gated, flag default false, and only from a scored issue — never Aurora restack.
