Why and what changed

Adds the complete dedicated GB300 SGLang 0.5.17 FP8 FlashInfer MoE sweep for AIC-1781: 3,159 measurements (117 shapes × 27 token counts) for the Qwen3.8-Max deployment-pinned sglang_flashinfer_trtllm_moe lane.

The diff against current main is five data/metadata files: the system's moe_perf.parquet, its collection_meta.yaml, one observed FP8 source/backend entry in collector/op_backend_facts.yaml, a pinned-source catalog clarification that SGLang fp8 includes fp8_block, and the complete regenerated perf_data_reuse_manifest.yaml. No executable code, collector behavior, or golden is changed. Prerequisite #326 is merged; this branch includes it via main.

Review map and compatibility

Risk: high, because measured data and selection eligibility are product behavior. Start with python/aisimulate/src/aisimulate_core/systems/data/gb300/moe/sglang/0.5.17/, then the matching registry line, catalog clarification, and generated manifest. Current-head machine-readable audit and native consumer evidence cover all shapes, keys, units, hashes, anomalies, binary data, and inherited manifest catch-up.

The optional Boolean default_eligible is true on all 9,153 existing rows and false only on the 3,159 new FP8 FlashInfer rows. All 324 TP32 points remain available through explicit kernel-source selection. Existing Triton and NVFP4 defaults are unchanged; automatic selection must not gain TP32 FlashInfer coverage. The collection sidecar remains schema v2, and the curated source-to-backend mapping is unchanged.

Intended consumer: this PR delivers the new opt-in FP8 rows for native AISimulate source-specific, op-level queries using moe_kernel_source="sglang_flashinfer_trtllm_moe" and an eligibility-aware reader. It does not add or certify selector plumbing in Dynamo's Planner or replay adapters. Downstream integrations must adopt compatible AISimulate reader support and explicitly forward the source selector before claiming these opt-in measurements; automatic selection remains unchanged. This boundary applies to the new FP8 rows, not to every existing NVFP4 measurement sharing the same source label. Retaining a selector in a regression configuration is not proof that the estimator used this measured lane; the existing estimator contract remains unchanged.

Keep the eligibility-aware reader while these opt-in rows are installed. A reader rollback must restore the pre-PR Parquet, sidecar, and system-specific registry entry together; merely dropping the eligibility column is unsafe with old readers.

Current-head evidence

  • Tested data head: 6d39e9ed3633baecbb861546925dea6b5567e6c9; comparison main: 32a2cf25adad0be08a67863e12516ced05e28b20.
  • Fresh locked native build from code a2b04a59a277aa8ef4687ef451cc46f4c848fa50 (merged fix: isolate opt-in MoE measurements from automatic selection #326), engine schema 21. Later main advances in this sequence contain measured data only; the executable code is identical.
  • All 12,312 rows are retained. The 9,153 pre-existing rows keep their schema, values, and order. Parquet and collection sidecar remain byte-for-byte identical to the previously reviewed data PR head 6530620b3c136953af1d84b541804c74d2d0f296. No measurement was removed, rescaled, recollected, or replaced.
  • Exactly 117 × 27 new points, including 324 TP32 points; no duplicate measurement keys, null cells, nonfinite latency, or nonpositive latency. Latency units are milliseconds.
  • Real-native validation: 56,862 automatic outcomes match the comparison-main baseline across SILICON/EMPIRICAL/HYBRID with shared data enabled and disabled; 24,624 exact-source latency checks match stored measurements. Default views and coverage match. Unset/Triton SILICON rejects all 324 TP32 points; exact FlashInfer succeeds. EMPIRICAL/HYBRID retain their baseline behavior.
  • Full-tree collector R1–R7 and the complete 2,153-slice backend-facts registry pass. Focused reuse-manifest, backend-facts, collection-metadata-schema, and provenance tests: 91 passed.
  • Complete canonical manifest regeneration covers all 855 files and 248 groups. It includes eight inherited SGLang-only entries and five raw-count corrections; all existing resolver fields remain unchanged. Generated main versus generated head differs only by this PR's 3,159 FlashInfer rows. All 1,040 native source-resolution reports are identical before/after; a positive-control fixture confirms the probe consumes the manifest.
  • Independent post-fix Codex Standards, Spec, and whole-branch reviews are clean, with fresh native/data-check reruns and preservation of the B200 landing. Exact-head Codex review records each axis separately. CodeRabbit completed a full review of this exact head, with all eight pre-merge checks passing; its consumer-scope clarification is addressed above.
  • Fast CI and the trusted-copy Fast CI passed on this exact head. Full CI passed with 47 successful jobs and five expected scope/publish skips after normal exact-SHA admission. The downloaded prediction-regression report compared 170,765 rows across 29 combinations with no differences. The separate advisory performance run also passed. Final pre-merge GitHub check: current main, CLEAN/MERGEABLE, APPROVED, zero unresolved conversations, 60 successful checks and five expected skips.

The audit link contains exact runnable commands and the native harness. Original production Slurm/OCI collection, pinned image, collector closure, case plan, and zero-error evidence remain in the earlier collection and annotation audit and unchanged sidecar. The refresh checks are loader/selection and prediction-regression validation, not new GPU benchmarks or a predictive-accuracy claim.

Tracking and landing

Related: AIC-1781, association approved by the user. Closes: none; the original issue has broader collection scope.

Landing order: merged code #326, then B200 #296, GB300 #298, and GB200 #301. Each data PR is refreshed and validated against the preceding main before squash merging. Required human CODEOWNER/domain approval, resolved conversations, and exact-head Fast/Full CI remain independent merge gates.

📝 Summary

Risk: Moderate. Human review should focus on:

  1. The default_eligible=false contract for the 3,159 new rows and whether consumers require explicit kernel_source selection.
  2. The GB300 fp8_block backend correction, which adds flashinfer_trtllm_gen alongside triton_fused_moe.
  3. Measurement provenance and the reported complete 117-shape × 27-token sweep, including the 324 TP32 rows.

Changes and contracts

  • Adds 3,159 GB300 FP8 FlashInfer TRT-LLM MoE measurements for SGLang 0.5.17. The collection metadata records 12,312 rows across three collection events.
  • Marks the new rows as not default-eligible. The metadata says they require explicit kernel_source selection; existing rows remain eligible.
  • Updates the GB300 fp8_block backend fact to include both FlashInfer TRT-LLM and Triton fused MoE.

Evidence and remaining gaps

  • The supplied author audit reports 952 passing tests, passing collector-data, lint, formatting, and whitespace checks, and successful native-consumer checks. The supplied bot report confirms Parquet row count, grid completeness, eligibility split, and data-integrity checks. These reports support technical quality but are not independent approval.
  • Historical raw Slurm artifacts and remote image digests were not revalidated. Exact-head hosted CI and human approvals remain outstanding. The reported native-consumer audit was not independently rerun.
  • No current review findings or findings counts were supplied. Review severity counts are unavailable.

Readiness

The author says prerequisite #326 must land first, then this PR should be refreshed and retargeted to main. The PR is reported as unmerged. Merge readiness is therefore not established.

Walkthrough

The MoE metadata adds a complete 3,159-row fp8_block collection that requires explicit kernel_source selection. Backend metadata now includes FlashInfer TRT-LLM. The shared performance-data reuse manifest adds SGLang entries and updates row counts.

Validate exact source selections against model metadata and the constructed native operation graph before unsupported configurations can fall back. Preserve the source through external-FPM AFD validation and explicitly reject legacy or fixed companion paths that cannot consume it. Document the selector contract and cover the actual model, memory, Task, and runner consumers.

Linked repositories findings

ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator

  • The compatibility reference maps sglang_flashinfer_trtllm to sglang_flashinfer_trtllm_moe, using backend flashinfer_trtllm_gen. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::] (collector/kernel_source_backends.yaml:129, collector/sglang/collect_moe.py:602,689)
  • Existing facts use this lane for GB300 SGLang MoE measurements, but the recorded version is 0.5.14; no 0.5.17 fact was found. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::] (collector/op_backend_facts.yaml:1568-1569)
  • The frozen reference remains at engine schema version 15, enforced by Rust and cross-package tests. The PR’s version 20 is therefore not compatible with this frozen artifact and should not be expected to decode its new engine specs. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::] (aic-core/rust/aiconfigurator-core/src/config.rs:72, aic-core/rust/tests/public-api/src/lib.rs:85)

ai-dynamo/dynamo

  • Qwen3.8 GB300 SGLang deployments use the same model ID and pin moe-runner-backend: flashinfer_trtllm; both aggregated and disaggregated configurations use this backend. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::] (recipes/qwen3.8-2.4t-a95b-fp8/sglang/agg-gb300-chat/deploy.yaml:10,23,30, sglang/disagg-gb300-chat/deploy.yaml:10,24,43,58,62)
  • Dynamo contains no moe_kernel_source consumer; its deployment contract currently selects the backend, not the new exact measurement lane. This data addition should therefore remain compatible with existing Dynamo recipes, but exact-source selection will not be exercised there. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::] (recipes/qwen3.8-2.4t-a95b-fp8/README.md:65-72)

crates/core/src/perfmodel/operators/moe_expert_compute.rs (1)

205-205: 🎯 Functional Correctness

The concern is refuted. python/aisimulate/src/aisimulate_core/sdk/models/blocks/moe.py:292-304 checks cfg.moe_kernel_source before emitting the large-EP graph and raises InvalidEngineConfigurationError when it is set. The configured source cannot reach the MoeExpertCompute fallback through the model builder.

python/aisimulate/src/aisimulate_core/sdk/engine.py (1)

468-474: 🎯 Functional Correctness

The concern is refuted. compile_engine passes model_path and all three controls to validate_moe_controls before model construction. The validator checks these controls independently of moe_kernel_source; each control causes a non-MoE model to be rejected.

python/aisimulate/src/aisimulate_core/sdk/models/deepseek.py (1)

802-802: 🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration

The cited selectors are consumed by the specialized paths. DeepSeek has explicit TRT-LLM and SGLang large-EP branches selected by _is_large_ep; the context ops.MoE call is part of the SGLang large-EP graph, while the cited generation call is in the non-large-EP fallback. DeepSeek-V32 has equivalent large-EP branches. DeepSeek-V4 explicitly selects DeepSeekV4MegaMoEModule for moe_backend="megamoe".

The configuration should not reject these selectors at the cited sites.

python/aisimulate/src/aisimulate_core/sdk/rust_engine_step.py (1)

1199-1199: 🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration

The schema-v15 compatibility concern is refuted. ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator v15 applies to its own compile_engine and AicEngine pair. Its documentation describes that pair as a separate maintenance-only compatibility surface and directs new integrations to AISimulate. AISimulate keeps its own Python and Rust engine consumers in lockstep at schema 20. This diff only adds moe_kernel_source to the engine identity and does not send AISimulate specs to the standalone AIC consumer.

Resolved the merge conflicts in e7927e0 by merging current main (992dddc). No force-push. The finalized selector/FPM/schema/test changes from #282 are preserved, and the net PR diff is exactly the two GB300 data/provenance files. Both files are byte-for-byte unchanged from the original data PR.

Validation on the resulting tree:

  • Fresh locked Python/native build; 493 focused tests, 386 engine parity tests, and 73 metadata/coverage/tool tests passed (952 total), without refreshing goldens.
  • All seven collector-data checks, Ruff checks/formatting, Cargo formatting, and whitespace checks passed.
  • Independent real Rust consumer audit with SILICON, strict provenance, and shared-layer fallback disabled: all 12,312 explicit-lane measurements match exactly (maximum error 0.0 ms), including all 3,159 new FP8 FlashInfer rows. All 9,153 existing default queries remain unchanged, and three unsupported-lane/quantization probes fail closed.
  • Independent task and whole-branch reviews found no unresolved or deferred findings. The committed tree is the reviewed tree 09a90e2a59da56eb63b4111ac0f1790bf7e029ba.

This is conflict-resolution and consumer validation of the existing data, not new GPU collection; historical raw Slurm artifacts and remote image digests were not revalidated. Exact-head hosted CI and required human approvals remain separate merge gates. The PR has not been merged.

Please review the current head 0d54d70 against the current code-prerequisite base 3acfa10. This is a dedicated two-file data PR; its previous green CodeRabbit status reported a skipped review because of the non-default base. The prerequisite code is reviewed separately in #326. Please verify the data and eligibility metadata at this exact head.

Exact-head Parquet and native-consumer evidence for gb300, data commit 6530620b3c136953af1d84b541804c74d2d0f296, code prerequisite 3acfa103521cfdd9bc5e33e73c65ec8bb409e584.

The audit was rerun locally on this exact file: SHA-256 4fbd27c0642002cda27e7fe98e004fc47aa5d003644d6ea3a9ed3e0852aa6adc. The JSON below contains the complete measurement-key columns, column types, shape values and all 117 new-lane shape tuples, token coverage, lane/TP/EP/distribution counts, millisecond units, null/duplicate/nonfinite/nonpositive checks, and native-consumer results. It is an inspectable machine-readable review artifact, not just a sidecar comment.

The native check uses the real EngineHandle.evaluate_ops_json → Rust MoE table path with this PR's systems directory, SGLang 0.5.17, strict provenance, and explicit query modes. All 12,312 stored latencies match exact-source SILICON queries with sharing off and on (24,624 checks). The new 3,159-row FP8 FlashInfer lane is reached, including all 324 TP32 points. SILICON rejects unset/Triton TP32; automatic behavior over all 9,477 physical keys matches main data in SILICON, EMPIRICAL, and HYBRID with sharing off and on (56,862 comparisons). Default views and coverage also match.

These are real native-loader/selection assertions against existing measured data, not a new GPU run, fake-runner result, or predictive-accuracy claim. Every original column is retained exactly. The binary remains unchanged.

This exact head also corrects the system's single FP8 entry in collector/op_backend_facts.yaml to record the already observed FlashInfer backend/source alongside Triton. The existing curated mapping is unchanged. Independent red/green checks reproduce one drift on the old registry and match all 2,139 slices on the corrected registry; collector R1–R7 and 16 backend-facts unit tests pass. The correction does not alter the Parquet or collection sidecar bytes. Fresh independent task and whole-branch reviews found no introduced issues.

Reproducible full native-consumer audit (Python)

Save this block as validate_eligibility_consumers.py. Use sibling checkouts named aisimulate (code commit 3acfa103521cfdd9bc5e33e73c65ec8bb409e584) and data-pr298 (data commit 6530620b3c136953af1d84b541804c74d2d0f296), with the development environment/native wheel built from the code checkout and the referenced baseline commits available. @Arsene12358, the Parquet-evidence requirement is met for the exact head. I verified the file SHA-256, schema, 12,312 rows, lane counts, unique measurement keys, and absence of null or invalid latencies. I also verified that all 3,159 FP8 FlashInfer rows have default_eligible=false, while the other 9,153 rows have true. The new lane contains all 117 cases × 27 token values, including 324 TP32 rows. The sidecar describes the same eligibility split.

The JSON and reproducible script provide inspectable evidence without adding a synthetic audit file to this data PR. I did not run the native-consumer audit. I also could not independently compare the original columns: the historical Parquet object was unavailable in this checkout. Those two claims remain supported by your supplied audit, not by my independent checks.

The PR description now follows the required headings and includes the review map, contract and rollback notes, exact validation commands/results, evidence classification, current reviewed commits, CI status, and AIC-1781 tracking. The detailed binary audit and reproducible real-native consumer checks are linked from the description. @coderabbitai Please recheck the remaining description/review-evidence warning; the commit and measured data have not changed.

@Arsene12358, the description and Review Evidence warning is stale. The current description names the validation commands and results. It classifies the production collection, local native validation, and hosted CI evidence. It also links the exact-head binary audit.

This recheck confirms the description content, not the reported native-consumer results. Full CI, the separate source-selection finding, and required merge approvals remain separate matters.

@Arsene12358, the Parquet-evidence requirement is met for data commit 6530620b3c136953af1d84b541804c74d2d0f296. I verified the file SHA-256 and inspected its rows directly. The reported lane counts, complete 117-case × 27-token grid, 324 TP32 rows, and default_eligible split match the file. I found no duplicate measurement keys, nulls, or invalid latencies. The collection sidecar and GB300 FP8 backend-facts entry are consistent with those results.

The native-consumer results and exact preservation of the original columns remain supported by your supplied audit. I did not rerun the native audit or independently compare the historical Parquet object.

Linked repositories findings

ai-dynamo/dynamo

  • Dynamo pins aisimulate==0.12.0 in pyproject.toml:17 and aisimulate-core = "=0.12.0" in Cargo.toml:59-60. The new eligibility/data contract therefore requires a compatible AISimulate release and downstream pin update before Dynamo can consume it. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::]
  • Planner and replay AIC configuration expose moe_dtype but no kernel-source selector (aic_adapter.py:248-275, replay.rs:299-330). They cannot explicitly request the new FlashInfer lane. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::]

ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator

  • collector/kernel_source_backends.yaml:75,129 distinguishes sglang_fused_moe_triton (triton_fused_moe) from sglang_flashinfer_trtllm_moe (flashinfer_trtllm_gen), matching the PR’s backend-fact correction. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::]
  • The shared-layer contract treats named kernel sources as reusable lanes and kernel_source=default as fallback (docs/perf_database/collector-v3-op-centric-design.md:365-371, perf_database.py:1245-1249). Explicitly ineligible rows must not enter those default/fallback paths. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::]

python/aisimulate/collector/helper.py (2)

2627-2632: The legacy-inheritance merge can duplicate rows when the pandas key types differ.

new_df.merge(annotations, on=identity, how="left") uses the identity columns. After the schema check, both sides have the same Arrow types, so the key types should match. If annotations still contains duplicate keys, the row count grows. drop_duplicates(keep="last") runs first, so duplicate keys cannot remain. A NaN-valued identity cell can still fail the left merge in pandas. For example, an empty distribution or kernel_source cell parsed as null becomes NaN or None. The merge then treats NaN keys as equal, but drop_duplicates behavior can differ between NaN and None. The current behavior is acceptable. No change is required.

Current-head refresh evidence (2026-09-29)

GB300 data head bd5deac53bed96d68def8280f7ff424806d05379 includes main 32a2cf25adad0be08a67863e12516ced05e28b20, after #326 and B200 #296 landed. The complete review diff is still exactly the GB300 Parquet, collection sidecar, and one observed-backend registry line. The B200 landing and every other main file are preserved. GB300 data assets are byte-identical to prior reviewed head 6530620b3c136953af1d84b541804c74d2d0f296.

Fresh native audit against this main: 56,862 automatic outcomes unchanged; 24,624 exact-source latencies equal the recorded milliseconds; default views and coverage unchanged. All 324 TP32 rows remain accessible explicitly and rejected by unset/Triton SILICON selection. The native binary was freshly built from merged code a2b04a59a277aa8ef4687ef451cc46f4c848fa50 (schema 21; SHA256 643848a255b4f00ba015976ea2b6f802ccce56a8e17e11f85323d4e0d1391205); the intervening B200 main commit changes data only, not executable code.

Collector R1–R7, all 2,153 backend-fact slices, and focused tests pass. Independent reviews and current-head hosted CI are separate gates; this comment does not claim those complete. This is real-native validation, not new GPU collection or predictive-accuracy evidence.

catalog: verify whether `flashinfer_trtllm_gen` supports this dtype, then add it
to the catalog if supported or remove it from the fact’s `backends` otherwise.
Keep the other backend and kernel source entries unchanged.

🔀 Multi-repo context ai-dynamo/dynamo, ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator

Linked repositories findings

ai-dynamo/dynamo

  • Dynamo is an actual AISimulate consumer via sweep/config-adapter and replay entry points (pyproject.toml:120-128), but pins both Python and Rust AISimulate packages to 0.12.0 (pyproject.toml:17, Cargo.toml:59-60). The eligibility-aware release must land before these rows are consumable. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::]
  • Planner and replay AIC inputs expose moe_dtype but no kernel_source (components/src/dynamo/planner/core/perf_model/aic_adapter.py:264, lib/bindings/python/rust/llm/replay.rs:299-330). The new default_eligible=false lane cannot be selected through these existing paths. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::]

ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator

  • The SGLang catalog lists flashinfer_trtllm_gen with quantizations {bf16, fp8, mxfp8, nvfp4, mxfp4}, but does not explicitly list fp8_block (collector/op_backend_catalog.yaml:134-143). Because this PR adds an explicit fp8_block FlashInfer TRT-LLM lane, verify that the dtype label is intentionally compatible with this catalog or update the compatibility reference. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::]
  • The collector records flashinfer_trtllm as sglang_flashinfer_trtllm_moe and validates the constructed backend (collector/sglang/collect_moe.py:598-715), supporting the corrected backend-source identity. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::]
  • Named kernel_source rows are classified separately from kernel_source=default fallback rows (docs/perf_database/op-kernel-sources.md:3-8). The new explicitly ineligible rows must remain outside default/fallback selection. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::]

Post-review metadata refresh: exact head 6d39e9ed3633baecbb861546925dea6b5567e6c9

Comparison main remains 32a2cf25adad0be08a67863e12516ced05e28b20 (B200 #296 merged). The branch now changes five data/metadata files: GB300 Parquet, collection sidecar, observed-backend facts, the SGLang MoE catalog clarification, and the complete generated reuse manifest. No executable code or goldens change.

The catalog now explains that SGLang's fp8 includes block-scaled fp8_block rows, with immutable v0.5.17 source citations. The observed backend and all measured bytes remain unchanged.

Complete manifest regeneration

The canonical scanner and renderer were run over all 855 files in independent (system, op_file) batches to bound memory. Every group's full version/framework input order is preserved. The batching method was checked against the ordinary canonical CLI on all 61 baseline MoE files: YAML byte-identical and all 158 per-group summaries equal. Full generated artifact SHA256: fb10f315af02ae636796ee2639178ba51bb7e35c820369778ec7b81918952e24.

This is not a counts-only diff. It catches up eight inherited SGLang-only entries already present in main's data (five DSV4.1, two GEMM, one Humming) and five raw-row counters. All 240 existing groups preserve their source, tier, frameworks, systems, and dedup/divergence values. Generated main and generated head both contain 248 groups with identical resolver fields; their only difference is this PR's 3,159 new FlashInfer rows: 638,986 → 642,145. The committed old FlashInfer count was 635,827, so its total correction also includes the already-merged 3,159 B200 rows. Other count corrections are inherited: context-MLA/default +2,640, moe_torch_flow +162, FlashInfer Cutlass +30, and MXFP4 FlashInfer +60.

The actual native resolver was tested against the original and regenerated full manifests for 130 system/framework/version identities × four affected op tables × shared data on/off: all 1,040 reports matched. A positive control that additionally authorized vLLM exposed two SGLang donor files, showing the probe actually consumes the candidate manifest. The real resolver excludes the active framework from cross-backend donors, so the eight SGLang-only additions introduce no cross-framework reuse.

Exact-head data and consumer verification

All 12,312 GB300 rows remain: 9,153 existing eligible rows and the full 117 × 27 new FP8 FlashInfer sweep marked opt-in (default_eligible=false), including all 324 TP32 points. The measured Parquet and provenance sidecar remain byte-identical to the previously reviewed head 6530620b3c136953af1d84b541804c74d2d0f296; hashes remain 4fbd27c0642002cda27e7fe98e004fc47aa5d003644d6ea3a9ed3e0852aa6adc and d65d1bbd6f0b57fa8865ef5dfad4fb2fb978195eaf2250be9b29a766f43e0c6b respectively. No measurements were discarded, rescaled, or recollected. Full binary shape/key/provenance audit and runnable native harness remain applicable to these identical bytes; this comment supersedes that comment's old three-file scope and head.

Fresh native rerun on this exact head: 56,862 automatic outcomes match baseline and 24,624 exact-source checks match stored measurements. Default views/coverage and all TP32 opt-in boundaries pass. Full R1–R7 and 2,153 backend-fact slices pass. Focused generator, backend-facts, provenance, and schema tests: 91 passed. These are loader/selection checks, not new GPU performance or predictive-accuracy claims.

Independent post-fix Standards, Spec, and whole-branch reviews are running. Fast CI and a fresh CodeRabbit full review have been requested on this head; Full CI admission remains pending those reviews. The inherited malformed-eligibility reader issue was reproduced on main and withdrawn as a PR finding; it remains explicitly tracked on AIC-1781, not represented as fixed.

Codex review completed on exact head 6d39e9ed3633baecbb861546925dea6b5567e6c9, against fixed main 32a2cf25adad0be08a67863e12516ced05e28b20. This covers the complete five-file branch diff and the metadata fix wave, not only the last commit.

  • Standards: 0 hard violations and 0 judgment findings. Independently reran 103 focused tests, R1–R7, all 2,153 backend-fact slices, exhaustive native data/default checks, and pinned upstream source verification.
  • Spec: 0 findings. Independently preserved all measurement/provenance bytes and eligibility boundaries; a complete 855-file regeneration reproduced the manifest byte-for-byte and isolated the new GB300 contribution to exactly 3,159 FlashInfer rows.
  • Final whole-branch review: 0 introduced findings. Independently reran the 77 metadata/provenance tests plus 14 generator tests, complete manifest regeneration, all 56,862 automatic comparisons and 24,624 exact-source latency checks, and 1,040 native resolver comparisons with a positive control.

The full generated manifest includes inherited main catch-up (eight SGLang-only entries and prior count drift); it introduces no new cross-framework reuse. The catalog clarification preserves backend names and measured facts. The inherited malformed-eligibility reader gap is separately tracked on AIC-1781 and remains unfixed; it is absent from these valid data rows and not introduced by this diff. Full evidence and the explicit inherited/new split are in the current-head audit.

No unresolved P0/P1 findings. This is technical review evidence, not a substitute for the required human approval, CodeRabbit completion, current-head Full CI, or GitHub merge gates.

🔀 Multi-repo context ai-dynamo/dynamo, ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator

Linked repositories findings

ai-dynamo/dynamo

  • Dynamo pins AISimulate to 0.12.0 in Python, Rust/container dependencies (pyproject.toml:17, container/deps/requirements.aisimulate.txt:5, Cargo.toml:60). The default_eligible reader support must be released and adopted before Dynamo can consume these opt-in rows. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::]
  • Planner and replay APIs expose moe_dtype but no kernel_source (components/src/dynamo/planner/core/perf_model/aic_adapter.py:264, lib/bindings/python/rust/llm/replay.rs:299-330). The new explicitly ineligible FlashInfer lane cannot be selected through those existing interfaces. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::]
  • GB300 Qwen SGLang recipes explicitly select flashinfer_trtllm (recipes/qwen3.8-2.4t-a95b-fp8/sglang/agg-gb300-chat/deploy.yaml:23,30, .../disagg-gb300-chat/deploy.yaml:24,62), matching the backend identity used by the new data. [::ai-dynamo/dynamo::]

ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator

  • The frozen SGLang catalog documents flashinfer_trtllm_gen for {bf16, fp8, mxfp8, nvfp4, mxfp4} but omits fp8_block (collector/op_backend_catalog.yaml:134-143). In contrast, fp8_block is recognized globally and documented as a supported quantization mode (tools/support_matrix/support_matrix.py:61,375-376, docs/advanced_tuning.md:48-49). This is a compatibility-reference divergence to keep intentional for the new AISimulate catalog entry. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::]
  • Named kernel sources are shared, while kernel_source=default is shared_fallback; both are inherited by HYBRID reuse (docs/perf_database/op-kernel-sources.md:3-8, tools/perf_database/generate_perf_data_reuse_manifest.py:547-564). The new named FlashInfer rows therefore need explicit source/eligibility handling rather than being treated as default fallback measurements. [::ai-dynamo/aiconfigurator::]

1352-1352: 🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration

The incompatible-reader path is blocked by the version pins.

The reviewed AISimulate artifact is version 0.13.0, while Dynamo pins both AISimulate distributions to 0.12.0. Dynamo cannot consume this manifest or its opt-in rows until it adopts 0.13.0 or a later compatible release.
