Upgrades
@playwright/test(and the matchingplaywright-corepin inpackages/scripts/package.json) from1.39.0to1.49.1, regeneratespackage-lock.json, and addsskipLibCheckin the two places this branch's older TypeScript needs it to build against the newer Playwright's bundled types.Why?
GitHub's
ubuntu-latestrunner now resolves to Ubuntu 24.04 ("Noble"). Playwright versions before1.45don't recognize Noble in their bundled OS-dependency lookup, sonpx playwright install --with-depsfails outright before any test can run.1.49.1is used instead of1.45.1(trunk's original fix, WordPress/gutenberg#61443) because it is the versionwp/6.8ships with.skipLibCheckis needed because everyplaywright-corerelease in this range ships type declarations requiring TypeScript'sESNext.Disposablelib (added in TS5.2), whilewp/6.5is pinned to TypeScript5.1.6. It only affects checking of third-party declarations undernode_modules, not this codebase's own source; trunk already carries this setting.Use of AI Tools
