Hello @ProtoSchool/chapter-organizers!

Based on the results of our local leadership survey, we're excited to revamp the ProtoSchool website to call out specific events using our tutorials as their primary content. This model will be well suited both to those of you who are running longstanding community groups and those who are interested in running events one-off attached to a conference. Here's a sneak peek of the new site design:

Qualified ProtoSchool events

A specific event may be submitted for inclusion on our site if it meets all of the following guidelines:

  • Offers learners the chance to work through one of the ProtoSchool tutorials in person with support from mentors
  • Creates a welcoming and inclusive environment, supported by a local Code of Conduct aligned with the global ProtoSchool Code of Conduct
  • Is educational (not commercial or promotional)
  • Is not-for-profit (free or low-cost to attendees)

Our site updates are nearly ready to go, but we need your upcoming event data in order to launch!
Please submit your qualifying events today!

Many of you run Meetups and other educational groups that teach ProtoSchool content one month and other content the next, which is great. Please be sure to submit the events that do focus on ProtoSchool's tutorials for inclusion on our website, and that will help us surface your group so that learners can discover the rest of your awesome content.

We're excited to work with you to advertise your upcoming ProtoSchool workshops. Thanks again for all you do to educate your local community!
