Reporter of #90906 here. I don't think this PR addresses that issue, and I'd ask that it not be auto-closed by it.

#90906 is about the Windows Hermes venv continuing to resolve to an old uv-managed CPython (3.11.15 / SQLite 3.50.4) while hermes update reports "Already up to date", and only picking up the newer runtime after uv python install 3.11.16 plus a Windows reboot.

Searching this diff for sqlite, uv python, venv, pyvenv, and 3.11.16 returns no matches in any Python source file — the only runtime hits are npm packages in ui-tui/package-lock.json. The 17 changed files (Discord tool, honcho memory plugin, webhook gateway, supply-chain-audit workflow, CONTRIBUTING.md, etc.) don't appear to touch runtime selection, venv home = resolution, or the SQLite version check that hermes doctor reports on.

Could the Closes #90906 link be dropped from the description so the issue stays open? Happy to provide more diagnostics from the affected Windows install if that helps.

Closing as incoherent relative to its stated goal.

The PR body says "Closes #90906 / Automated fix for issue #90906" (the hermes update / stale uv-managed SQLite 3.50.4 runtime bug), but the diff touches none of the relevant code (hermes_cli/update_cmd.py, hermes_cli/managed_uv.py, hermes_cli/sqlite_runtime.py). Instead it edits 17 unrelated files, and every hunk is the same text corruption — deleting the space after "with":

  • .env.example: "config.json with enabled=true" → "config.json withenabled=true"
  • .github/workflows/supply-chain-audit.yml: "subprocess with encoded/obfuscated" → "subprocess withencoded/obfuscated"
  • .plans/streaming-support.md: "compatible with existing code" → "compatible withexisting code"

(zero matches for sqlite/runtime repair anywhere in the diff.)

The actual #90906 remediation is being handled by:
