[None][infra] Waive 70 failed cases for main in pre-merge 66148 (function-level waives for test_lora_ownership) - #20953
Update: function-level waives for test_lora_ownership.py
The original 56 per-parametrization waives for six functions in unittest/_torch/peft/test_lora_ownership.py (e.g. test_decoder_aliases_load_through_worker_and_lazy_cache[lazy-hf-eager-flat]) are replaced with one function-level waive per function.
Why: the validate-test-lists pre-commit hook (scripts/check_test_list.py --validate) derives valid parametrize IDs only from @pytest.mark.parametrize and does not account for parametrized fixtures (entrypoint, checkpoint_source, graph_enabled). It therefore rejected these 56 IDs as INVALID PARAMETRIZE ID, which failed both the Pre-commit Check and the Release Check behind blossom-ci. The IDs themselves match the pytest node IDs; the rejection is a limitation of the static validator. Function-level waives pass the validator and are matched at runtime by apply_waives_ut in tests/unittest/conftest.py.
Impact: the function-level waives also skip the worker-entrypoint variants of these six functions (56 more cases), which were not among the failures in pre-merge 66148. Coverage of the worker entrypoint for these functions is lost until the waives are narrowed again, either after NVBug 6988759 is fixed or once the validator understands fixture parametrization. The other 14 waive entries are unchanged.
This PR was auto-generated by TensorRT LLM CI Report. Please review the waive entries before merging.
Dev Engineer Review
tests/integration/test_lists/waives.txt adds 20 skip entries: two resource-manager cases linked to NVBUGs 6988757 and 6988758, and 18 LoRA ownership cases linked to NVBUG 6988759. The waivers reduce coverage for these cases until they are restored or otherwise resolved. No source-code changes are reported.
QA Engineer Review
The change modifies only tests/integration/test_lists/waives.txt. It adds skips for PEFT reload behavior and LoRA alias, ownership, checkpoint, and representation behavior. test_resource_manager.py appears in the CI test list; CI-list membership for test_lora_ownership.py is not established by the available evidence. Test results are unavailable. Coverage verdict: needs follow-up, because these cases are skipped.
Per-File QA Perspective
tests/integration/test_lists/waives.txt: Adds 20 bug-linked skips across two test files. Confirm the waived cases are tracked and re-enabled when the related issues are resolved.

Walkthrough
The integration waiver list adds 20 skip entries: two for resource-manager PEFT reload tests and 18 for LoRA ownership tests. The entries reference NVBUG 6988757, 6988758, or 6988759.

Summary
Add PEFT reload and LoRA ownership waivers tests/integration/test_lists/waives.txt
Adds skip entries for two TestResourceManager PEFT reload tests and 18 LoRA ownership tests. The latter cover decoder aliases and filtering, duplicate aliases, checkpoint mappings and representations, projector validation, adapter scope, and saved encoder/decoder weights.
Several LoRA tests targeted by this waiver can still run and fail. Use effective selectors before merging.

Explanation
The description is detailed and relevant. It identifies the NVBugs, lists the waiver entries, explains the function-level waiver change, documents validation behavior, and states the coverage impact. It does not use the exact Description, Test Coverage, and PR Checklist headings, but it provides the required information in equivalent sections.
Full details: Title check
Explanation
The title names the main change: a waiver PR that skips 70 failed pre-merge test cases on main. The raw summary describes only 20 added lines in waives.txt (two resource-manager tests and 18 LoRA ownership tests). The title's count of 70 and its 'function-level waives for test_lora_ownership' detail are not reflected in the summary, which is a mismatch between the title and the changeset as described. The title still refers to a real part of the change and is specific enough for a teammate scanning history to understand the primary intent.

…re-parametrized cases
validate-test-lists only derives valid parametrize IDs from
@pytest.mark.parametrize and rejects IDs that also carry fixture params
(e.g. lazy-hf-eager-flat), so waive the six affected functions at
function level instead of per parametrization.
