The majority of the code changes have been reviewed as part of the update to master on May 4. I merged in the branch of SCM that worked with HWRF physics and manually took much of that out such that it can be reinstated when HWRF physics officially comes to dtc/develop.

Most of the updates corresponding to the ccpp-physics/framework dtc/develop updates from master are in GFS_typedefs.[F90/meta].

This code has been tested (cmake, make, multi_run) without compilation or runtime errors on Mac only.
