Summary

Smallest safe slice for B-0057 (occult/western-esoteric research track).
Parallel to the mythology catalog (B-0056, merged PR #2424) in tools/resonance/.

  • New file: tools/resonance/esoteric-catalog-schema.ts — self-contained, no external imports
  • Schema version: esoteric-resonance-v1, IDs EST-NNN
  • 4 seed entries across 4 distinct traditions, honest three-filter discipline applied

Seed entries

ID Title Tradition F1 F2 F3 Status
EST-001 Hermetic "as above, so below" (Tabula Smaragdina) hermetic pass pass pass candidate
EST-002 Lurianic tzimtzum — withdrawal-ground kabbalistic pass partial pass candidate
EST-003 Jungian coniunctio — psychologized union-of-opposites jungian-alchemy pass partial partial candidate
EST-004 Thelemic True Will — F2-weak thelemic pass fail partial failed

EST-001 is the only full F1+F2+F3 pass and the only self-reference structural type across all three catalogs — the Hermetic macro-micro formula IS the mechanism by which all resonance instances are identified.

EST-004 (True Will F2-fail) records the pre-assessed prediction from the B-0057 backlog row as confirmed filter output. Filter-failure-rate discipline: 1 fail / 4 entries = 25% for esoteric track.

Decomposition note

B-0057 is effort:L (long-running research track); this PR is B-0057.1 (typed schema + seed entries). Subsequent slices: counterexample searches for EST-001/002/003, Golden Dawn Liber 777 correspondence tables (EST-005 candidate), Hermes Trismegistus triple-tradition-fusion entry (noted in MYT-002 but deferred to esoteric track).

Runtime check

$ bun tools/resonance/esoteric-catalog-schema.ts --validate
All 4 entries pass schema validation.

$ bun tools/resonance/esoteric-catalog-schema.ts
Esoteric Resonance Catalog — esoteric-resonance-v1
  Total entries:         4
  Confirmed:             0
  Candidates:            3
  Failed:                1
  Withdrawal-ground:     1
  Macro-micro:           1
  Psychologized:         1
  Anti-instances:        0
  By tradition:          {"hermetic":1,"kabbalistic":1,"jungian-alchemy":1,"thelemic":1}
  By structural type:    {"self-reference":1,"generative-ground":1,"paired-dual":1,"instantiation":1}
  F1 fail/partial:       0/0
  F2 fail/partial:       1/2
  F3 fail/partial:       0/2

Test plan

  • bun --check tools/resonance/esoteric-catalog-schema.ts — type-checks clean
  • bun tools/resonance/esoteric-catalog-schema.ts --validate — all 4 entries pass schema validation
  • EST-004 status=failed correctly requires F2=fail; validator confirms
  • No changes to existing files; fully retractible (one commit removes it)

… entries

Smallest safe slice for the occult/western-esoteric research track (B-0057).
Parallel to mythology-catalog-schema.ts (B-0056) in tools/resonance/.

Schema: esoteric-resonance-v1 with EST-NNN IDs, EsotericTradition taxonomy
(hermetic/kabbalistic/thelemic/golden-dawn/theosophical/jungian-alchemy/
alchemical/enochian/gnostic/other), EsotericSubStructure (withdrawal-ground /
macro-micro-correspondence / psychologized-tradition / synthesis-methodology /
anti-instance), full three-filter validation, and CLI --validate / --summary.

Seed entries (pre-assessed per B-0057 backlog row):
  EST-001 Hermetic "as above, so below" (Tabula Smaragdina) — only full
    F1+F2+F3 pass; self-reference structural type (first in any catalog)
    because the formula IS the mechanism by which all resonance instances
    are identified.
  EST-002 Lurianic tzimtzum — withdrawal-ground → generative-ground,
    F2 partial (genuine structural match; Shevirat haKelim excess not
    present in factory).
  EST-003 Jungian coniunctio — paired-dual, psychologized-tradition
    sub-structure; F2/F3 partial; demonstrates clean register-shift
    (occult → clinical-psychology → factory algebra) without occult claims.
  EST-004 Thelemic True Will — F2 fail, honest filter-failure-rate
    discipline; pre-assessment in B-0057 correctly predicted this outcome.

Runtime check: bun tools/resonance/esoteric-catalog-schema.ts --validate
→ "All 4 entries pass schema validation."

Pull request overview

Adds an initial, self-contained TypeScript schema + CLI summary/validator for the B-0057 (western-esoteric) operational-resonance research track, paralleling the existing media and mythology resonance catalogs under tools/resonance/.

Changes:

  • Introduces esoteric-resonance-v1 typed schema (entries, filters, status, structural types, tradition taxonomy).
  • Adds validation + summary CLI and a 4-entry seed catalog (EST-001EST-004).
  • Implements per-tradition / per-structural-type / per-filter outcome aggregation in the summary output.

/**
* Per-filter pass/fail/partial/deferred result.
* "partial" keeps filter-failure-rate calibrated when F2 is genuine but not at full
* structural-identity depth. "deferred" gates promotion to "candidate".

… catalog PRs (#2427)

TS2322 (candidate-schema.ts:52): f2Strength 'strong-but-looser' not assignable
to union 'weak'|'moderate'|'strong' — change to 'moderate'; qualifier moved
to notes field.

TS2375 (mythology-catalog-schema.ts:451): explicit `sourceMemory: undefined`
violates exactOptionalPropertyTypes=true — remove line; omission is correct
for absent optional properties.

Both errors pre-existed in main via #2423/#2424; first surfaced by tsc lint
running against PR #2426's merge context.

* fix(mythology): clarify pending anchor note in heimdallrSeed to resolve review thread

The notes field contradicted textualAnchors listing two Eddas by saying 'second anchor pending'. Reworded to specify additional independent anchor beyond the Eddas is pending for F2.

* feat(B-0068.1): smallest safe slice — Forge CLI + Ollama research child row (re-decomposed from umbrella)

Decomposed B-0068 umbrella per "if too broad, decompose before implementation".
One bounded step: first atomic research child (S-effort, no code).
Dependency-ordered start: research → hardware audit → install/smoke → direct paths.

Focused checks included in child doc body.
