AV failures are unrelated (failure in download of julia-lastest). |

Travis failures also look unrelated (only nightly affected), although I don't quite get what's happening there. Is that a bug in a deprecation in base? |

Perhaps add type assertions to these tests, e.g. @test Matrix{Int}(I, 3, 3)::Matrix{Int} == a?

Yes, will do. (I knew there was a reason I did these tests with different element types 😄 )
