Buyer and data-integrity impact

Refs #287. This bounded stacked slice persists already-authorized skipped, cancelled, and not_performed schedule reason events with verified cancellation approval evidence, immutable audit identity, and the authoritative work-item version transition inside one SQLite savepoint.

Exact current stack and scope

  • current parent: feat(schedule): authorize and audit terminal reason events #518 feat/schedule-reason-authorization-287@95982819c49cf08ed92b18795a80234882676d53;
  • exact contributor head: 92858d9dd4852c1771d034d69bc7428dcb355e16;
  • current parent is the exact merge base; child is ahead-only by 17 commits and zero-behind;
  • exact current-parent→child semantic diff is six persistence/evidence paths: CHANGELOG.md, docs/doctoring/schedule-reason-event-persistence.md, package.json, server/schedule_reason_event_sqlite.mjs, tests/unit/coverage-script-contract.test.mjs, and tests/unit/schedule-reason-event-sqlite.test.mjs.

Parent #518 moved after this child was last reconciled. The intervening parent repair carried only server/schedule_outcome_domain.mjs and tests/unit/schedule-outcome-domain-edge.test.mjs, which are disjoint from this child's six-path semantic delta. 92858d9... therefore non-destructively merged the exact new parent while preserving the parent’s explicit-offset audit-timestamp repair/regression, version-bound reason-event authorization contract, and this child’s SQLite persistence behavior. Fresh comparison proves the live parent is the exact merge base with no inherited parent deletion or weakening.

The child does not modify app.js, cloud-sync.js, Hono routes, auth/session middleware, attachments, Clearfolio, billing, dependency lockfiles, workflows, deployment configuration, or the existing authoritative work-item store.

TDD chronology and data-integrity contract

  • RED 393e8a48b4815a0fdbb2104fc3c4d846f65de057 introduced the persistence behavior contract while server/schedule_reason_event_sqlite.mjs was absent, producing ERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND.
  • GREEN f3aa61ae6cd0caa774386be3a8e3959ab210501f added the production SQLite adapter.
  • f527bd778a2ae19f3c216b0f427dc9754824d7f7 and 40d303933d7e3306b6502098b832691f5d6dd864 registered and locked the production/test coverage path.
  • 92858d9dd4852c1771d034d69bc7428dcb355e16 is a stack-reconciliation commit only; it adds no unique persistence behavior beyond preserving both exact parent and child trees.

The adapter keeps three normalized relations for reason-event facts, optional verified cancellation approval evidence, and immutable audit identity; owned tables/indexes use descriptive multiword snake_case. It does not invent a second work-item source of truth. The injected advanceResourceVersion function must update the authoritative store synchronously on the same SQLite connection inside the same savepoint. The exact authorization-bound expected version must advance; stale, blank, or non-advancing transitions fail closed. Version transition, event insert, optional approval insert, and audit insert commit or roll back together, including the realistic forced audit-identity collision regression that proves the authoritative version update rolls back with the child writes.

Current review and exact-head evidence

The repeated OpenCode CHANGES_REQUESTED reviews are explicitly tied to predecessor head 057d0434e2995e3e5ad329011f7538373510fe61 and the earlier organization coverage-evidence failure. They are not current-head approval evidence and do not establish a new product defect on 92858d9....

Two unresolved Devin threads remain informational rather than validated defects: one notes the fail-safe rollback behavior if RELEASE itself fails after a successful operation, and one notes that this bounded adapter has no production caller yet, which matches the stated slice boundary. Neither thread is being resolved or converted into a product mutation without contradictory requirements or executable evidence.

Repository-native workflows for exact head 92858d9dd4852c1771d034d69bc7428dcb355e16 are currently queued: Server Tests 32808523720, Dependency Review 32808523712, and OSV Scanner 32808524029. Queued, pending, cancelled, skipped-required, neutral, absent, stale, predecessor, status-only, synthetic, provider-unavailable, or model-only evidence is non-passing. Do not churn a clean head merely to provoke a retry; fresh terminal results must be evaluated on this unchanged exact head.

This PR remains Draft until every applicable exact-head repository and organization gate is terminal-success, owned production coverage remains exact, valid findings are zero, and qualifying independent current-head/last-push approval is present under the live policy.

Standards and integration boundary

docs/doctoring/schedule-reason-event-persistence.md records active-PR versus protected-shipped truth, normalized ownership, same-connection savepoint semantics, realistic rollback evidence, and APA 7 references to SQLite primary documentation. This is control-readiness evidence, not a certification claim.

This PR does not close #287. Subsequent bounded work still needs authenticated API wiring around the repository port, an authoritative same-connection project/work-item version adapter, Rust-first deterministic schedule-variance computation with explicit missingness denominators, and buyer-facing decision views.

Merge gate

Do not integrate independently of #518, #517, and #515. After the prerequisite stack reaches protected develop, reconcile this exact bounded semantic diff onto the resulting live head and require every then-applicable exact-head CI, browser E2E, owned coverage/docstring, SAST/security/dependency/supply-chain/package/provenance, migration/recovery, resolved-valid-thread, and qualifying independent-approval gate on the unchanged head. ScopeWeave #523 and ContextualWisdomLab/.github#1222 remain the repository-native and organization-reusable exact-head evidence-control repair lanes; predecessor/synthetic evidence cannot authorize integration.

Pull request overview

OpenCode cannot approve yet because required coverage evidence did not pass.

Review outcome

1. HIGH .github/workflows/opencode-review.yml:1 - Coverage evidence did not prove required test/docstring evidence

  • Problem: The required coverage-evidence job result was failure, so OpenCode cannot establish approval sufficiency for this head.

  • Root cause: Automated approval is only valid when the same-head coverage-evidence job proves supported repository test suites passed and configured docstring gates passed or were advisory, or reports not applicable because no supported source files or package manifests exist. Missing, failed, skipped, unavailable, or unsupported-tooling test evidence is a blocker.

  • Fix: Install or configure the repository test/docstring evidence tooling when source files or package manifests exist, rerun the current-head coverage-evidence job, and approve only after it reports success with required evidence or explicit no-source not-applicable evidence.

  • Regression test: Keep the approval branch checking needs.coverage-evidence.result == success before posting APPROVE, and publish REQUEST_CHANGES when coverage-evidence blocker states such as cancelled, skipped, failed, unsupported-tooling, or below-100 evidence are present.

  • Result: REQUEST_CHANGES

  • Reason: coverage-evidence result was failure, so required test/docstring evidence was not proven for current head 057d0434e2995e3e5ad329011f7538373510fe61.

seonghobae dismissed opencode-agent[bot]’s stale review August 26, 2026 07:51

Stale predecessor-head OpenCode verdict. This review explicitly evaluates 057d043; the current contributor head is 92858d9 on current parent 9598281. Current-head repository checks have since reached terminal success for the available repo-native gates, and the Devin informational threads are resolved as verified scope/fail-safe evidence. Dismissal removes predecessor-only review state and does not constitute approval or merge authority.
