Welcome to the newleste.p8 wiki!

Newleste.p8 Is a long-running community project to remake nearly all of newleste (aka Celeste 2019) back into pico-8's Celeste Classic, the platform that the game was originally made for.

If you would like to assist with development, feel free to join the Celeste Classic Discord server, Make sure to enable "Mod Celeste Classic" in the join quiz. Information and Development discussion is located in #Newleste-p8

If you would like to assist with Leveling or Level Write-ups, A useful utility is Berrycamp, A purely online map viewer for all of newleste. Just choose the chapter you want to work on, but make sure you aren't duplicating any work!

If you want to keep track of development, join the discord, linked above, or "Watch"/Follow this repo. If you intend to assist development, Before you work on anything make sure to join the discord and ask about what needs work. When you are ready to work on something, don't forget to ask for contribute permissions and create your own branch to work off of.
