Prophecies and Legends
"When the blade which leaves no cut returns from the grave, she that sent it will abuse her domain to slay her brother. His death must be prevented by an unlikely band, else the world becomes a battlefield and her inhabitants wither."
It is commonly believed that in olden times of need the gods gave mortals who impressed them gifts which will eventually be known as relics. If the legends are correct, then these relics were created using a portion of the god's soul. The god would sacrifice a small portion of their power to give a trusted mortal the power that they needed to avert a crisis.
Some of the most famous of these legends featured weapon and armour relics given to their mortal custodians by Tueri to help protect their people from a threat.
