Player Characters
Player characters, or "PCs", are the characters that are controlled by the members of the play by post RPG other than the game master; though the game master may sparingly take control of PC's, such as if their user becomes inactive in order to exit the character from the game.
In general, not everything about other characters will be common knowledge. Faith and motives are good examples of things that are usually difficult to notice. Other facts tend to be clear but can be hidden, such as: their gender and race, and their appearance.
The only thing that another character can instantly know is someone else's attire. All other information in the character sheet would be discovered over time from interacting with and/or observing the character.
In summary, be careful that you don't post something which your character wouldn't know because you as a player read another's character sheet.
Below is a list of all characters in the play by post RPG. A character should only be added to this list once they are approved by the game master.

Made a new character? Add them here.
Adventurers who had to leave the party do to other commitments, self-sacrifice, or for being stupid. Retired doesn't mean gone forever, even death can be circumvented, but at what price?
To create a character, first copy the Character Template on to a new article under their nick name. Once you think your character is complete (all entries except history-entrance and history-exit are filled), come back to this page and add them under pending characters (If you don't know how to do this then don't worry it's not required, it just makes things easier later).
Accounts are free, but if you don't want one then just send a filled in Character Template with the notification PM (See below). I would advice saying that you want your character added to the wiki (the GM may not realise that you're missing).
Next you need to get your character approved (this is a process that every character has gone through), simply make an issue on the repo with a link to your character and wait for a reply from Lupus590 who is the Game Master. Or if you prefer, you may want to instead PM the GM via the forums, just make sure that the subject has "RPG" in it somewhere.
Once your character has been approved, they are ready to join the party, you can do this when and how you like.
Just like in real life first impressions are important, you may want to spend a bit of time capturing the essence of your character in your joining post. Thief like characters may want to make an interesting appearance by being caught pick pocketing another PC (make sure to ask for the player's permission first).
Try to be aware of your location and give a hint of what your character was doing there before encountering the party, this may require waiting for the best opportunity to make your post (such as waiting for the party to visit a town again). If you believe that the party are not going to naturally go towards a situation where you want to introduce your character then you could message Lupus590 to nudge them for you (or you could post out of character and ask for ideas, some of them may get their character to set up the situation you want).
We currently have a rule where it's implied that the party introduces themselves to the new character. This is due to it taking quite a long time in the past, new characters can still do their own introductions though.
