- Need this MR merged https://gitlab.kitware.com/vtk/vtk-m/-/merge_requests/2633 (Cyrus can't merge)
- CYrus will test with "final" release branch, target VTK-m 1.7 on Friday (12/3)

- Marco: Ascent + PeleLM, need field filtering as part of PeleLM publish process

- Cyrus wants to try new VTK-m
- UMS (User Managed Software) space on Summit will allow us to have non purgable installs (Terry is working on this)
- Ascent on Spock -- successful builds:
- gcc non mpi builds with openmp
- cce mpi builds with openmp
- Ascent on Perlmutter - we still have not built here
- Still want to know which compilers code teams need
