it can be hard to explain simple things with comprehensive documentation, and vice-versa actually :)

record a terminal session that does:

  • vanilla macos/ubuntu
  • bootstrap machine
  • git init, generic repo bootstrap
  • append to Brewfile.inc.sh
  • make bootstrap
  • append deps/build/clean/test targets to Makefile
  • make those targets
  • docker images
  • make docker-ci

smth else?!

PS: some of these are probably better as a recorded video, than a asciinema session
