As of 2.0.0, the default proxies assigned are:

• Firefox: firefox.api.cdn-perfprod.com:2023
• Chrome: chrome.api.cdn-perfprod.com:4023

@Geczy was kind enough to donate some proxies to the community. Huge thanks to him! (EDIT: They're now bundled with Firefox proxies)

Do not try to use these proxies with builds below 2.0.0-beta.7, you'll get rate-limited and forward blacklisted from using all of them alltogether. This is irreversible, you won't get unblacklisted. You need to understand that I'm providing these for free completely, please just read.

also i just swapped back to 2.0.0 beta its working for now with whopper mode toggled with na/stable eu proxies

@zGato The American proxy was the only one that was truly stable for me, no buffering or pausing like the other 3 do/did. I use a extension to keep my delay to sub 1 second. It gets below 1 second delay and stays there for a few mins but then pauses, I get the circle of death for a few seconds then it comes back now with a delay of 3 seconds. This didn't happen on America

Doesnt look like it, I'd love to know what the best current option for chrome is. I can't get any of the v1 proxies to work on the latest stable chrome release, and the v2 beta 3 I had no longer works since the beta 1-6 proxies shut down. Not sure what to try.

You either have the option to switch to Firefox (you don't need to entirely switch, just make a shortcut on your Desktop called Twitch and that goes to Firefox)
Or buy your own VPS to host your own proxy for literally 1$ a month.

I would love to provide proxies for older betas that were available for Chrome, but those will simply get rate-limited very fast and you'll see constant purple screens :(

@zGato I would like to ask if there is a way to add credentials in the extension config, like user:password@hostname:port. Hosting a private squid proxy will attract other unauthenticated users too.

The extension doesn't natively support it. You can put the proxy without user@password and your browser will prompt for credentials
Once it prompts, save them and you would just need 1 click on each browser restart

I´m using Browser Edge and usually my stream latency in some specific stream using previous ttv-lol 1.9x versions was 1.35 seconds, using latest ttv-lol version and default proxy my latency is 6-7 seconds and sometimes midroll ads it appear.

But using Proxy2: 176.124.199.66:4023 my stream latency is 1.30-1.60 seconds and midroll are blocked properly.

TTV LOL PRO V2 does not add a lot more of latency, as the proxy only gives you video-edge URLs thru weavers so your connection is still to Twitch itself. The only latency added is if you have huge latency to Helsinki servers (or others, but mostly Russia gets Helsinki). This does not apply to Firefox.

The round-robin DNS system made to Chrome & Firefox proxies will give you that server eventually, so if that server's slots get full then you'll not fallback to another one and will see ads. Keep in mind, once you get an slot, you'll not see an ad unless you by any way stop the stream via pausing or switching tabs, or others. Switching to the DNS system should help as users get dynamically assigned to servers. Do not recommend users to switch to IPs itself, it's not helpful for anyone.

Having laissez-passer enabled/disabled will not fix it.
Chrome proxy is provided as courtesy, and has limited slots. Please reload using the red button until you get in. Once you get an slot, it will get assigned to your IP and you'll have uninterrupted streaming :)

Refresh your Twitch tab only as last resource. Use the red reload button, please, it will help others and yourself!

It's Firefox-only. Abusers will get banned from it and from the main Firefox & Chrome API.

chome.api.cdn-perfprod.com should work just fine. Reload using the red button if you see error #2000 until it let's you in.

Was using TTVLOL Pro for a long time and it was working fine, but recently it was making streams not open at all (proxy error?), giving error #2000, etc and after sometime it now only opens using the Chrome proxy even when using Firefox.

I don't think I'm blacklisted since I can use the Chrome proxy normally but really want to use the Firefox one since Chrome only has some slots remaining and most of the time, it's already full making the stream not open at all.

As for Firefox it should work okay for most people (some might see midrolls). Error #2000 shouldn't happen

The thing is: I was using Firefox and still could only connect to the Chrome proxy for some random reason, any other proxy just seems to not connect at all, the stream doesn't even load, show #2000 error and in the extension menu it doesn't even show what proxy I'm using

On peak hours the connection to the servers from people outside the EU is very poor. I'm working on improving it. Now it works as normal, but probably in 4h it will start to buffer again. Not sure tho.

The issue is fixable, but you need to modify the switch rules with the ones posted here by zGato: #151

Just stick to the switch rules already posted by zGato. :) Any person who used your config will have problems with Kick because your "video-weaver" switch rule is too simple and will conflict with the one used by Kick.

I personally use HostVDS for myself and I have some servers from them on the Firefox / Chrome loadbalancer. No issues, only downtime due to "unplanned maintenances" they have. You can contact them for a refund.

Yeah, I'm not really worried about that. I only bought a month to try out. Just curious why it's not working. And I just realized I had SwitchyOmega set to direct. So, it's not even loading Twitch for me now after changing that. I rechecked my settings and yeah I don't know. I made two new ones, Debian & Ubuntu. Went through all the steps and it won't load Twitch at all. Rebooted the servers and everything. Unlinking my Prime sub didn't help either. Ah well.

@zGato Thanks for the instructions. Interestingly the Response header of twitch.tv had a Set-Cookie header with countryCode=DE (my country). I always used this option:

I am not sure how that got through, but maybe somehow it wasn't proxied once. I have cleared all my cookies and other data and logged in again. For now twitch.tv seems to be responding with countryCode=UA again.

I will keep an eye on that if the ads start reappearing and then maybe we can find out how this cookie suddenly got set with my own country there. There might be an extension to track when a cookie value is changing.

Been trying to use TTVLP recently in chrome from NA and it is basically unusable due to buffering and from looking around it seems like this may be due to the proxy server being full? Is the only way to make this actually functional to set up my own proxy server as mentioned earlier up?

TL:DR: Your ISP doesn't want to pay for traffic thus giving you shitty routes to Europe. NA is expensive to host servers on.

And lastly, V2 proxying is really expensive if doing at high scale. The proxies are handling around 3k streams on peak hours, that's a shit ton of bandwidth and CPU usage. If my provider ever decides to stop me because of overusage, we'll say goodbye to Chrome proxies.

If you have NordVPN, you can use one of their proxies with TTV LOL PRO. Here is how:

1. Go to https://my.nordaccount.com/dashboard/nordvpn/
2. Click on Set up NordVPN manually, enter the code that is sent to your email to proceed
3. Note down the username and password on the next page
4. Go to https://nordvpn.com/servers/tools/ and select a country (Ukraine for example)
5. Click on Show available protocols and look for HTTP Proxy (SSL). If it is listed, the proxy is compatible
6. Note down the server's hostname (ab123.nordvpn.com for example)
7. Go to the TTV LOL PRO Options, you can reach it on Chrome via chrome-extension://bpaoeijjlplfjbagceilcgbkcdjbomjd/options/page.html
8. Enter the proxy details there in this format: username:[email protected]:89

Google suggests that the version of socat you're using is compiled against an older version of OpenSSL that doesn't fully support the TLS cipher that the server wants to use. Unfortunately I don't have a specific suggestion other than to try a newer build of socat. I'm not sure where you got your build.
