Possibility to switch "active transformation method" on mouse controls #537

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am trying to make a toolbar to switch between different options like pan, rotate and zoom which can then all be handled with the left mouse button. However, rebinding the controls using your controller is proving to be rather tricky.
Describe the solution you'd like
Be able to set the controls that affect the different transform tools for the camera. Perhaps by being able to set an "active tool" to have control over this situation.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I was trying to modify the MOUSE_BUTTON property with no luck to get it working.
Also tried hijacking the pointer event and transforming it to what we need but no luck either.
