The big problem with this kind of solution is that it doesn't scale. For
example, it is possible to build X11 (and xmonad / contrib) on macOS, but
there are three different ways to install the same xorg, each with a
different prefix. (/opt/X11, /opt/local, and whatever homebrew does which
might not be simply /usr/local). Should all those paths be added too?
