We need to merge this to accomodate for the breaking change of wherobots/geo, so I'd like to merge it now. Feel free to comment in this PR and I'll address the comments in future PRs. |

The change made to GeometryTraitExt is introduced by wherobots/geo#11. This PR should be merged after the wherobots/geo PR is merged.
