Will,

This change should not impact any existing experiments , including those with salt restoring. The parameter FLUXCONST needs to be present for backwards compatability. Additional parameters, FLUXCONST_TEMP and FLUXCONST_SALT are available to override FLUXCONST to differ between temperature and salinity piston velocities.
