Add compact whole-block planning, transfer cancellation contracts, asynchronous lookup, hybrid and Mamba coordination, partial hash hits, KV events, metrics, and the post-review event correctness fixes. Update the existing shared connector tests and helpers for the new store masking and lookup behavior so they pass at this commit. Coordinate hybrid hits against the full request and actual local residency. Keep group load indices absolute so chunked-local KV is restored. Review: vllm-project#61791 (comment) Co-authored-by: Codex <noreply@openai.com> Signed-off-by: CharlesWu <Charles.Wu@amd.com>
Use core replay boundaries for retention and include aligned endpoint proof objects needed by the core hit finder. Review: vllm-project#61791 (comment) Co-authored-by: Codex <noreply@openai.com> Signed-off-by: CharlesWu <Charles.Wu@amd.com>
Separate source-pin release from asynchronous event publication. Invalidate stale attempts on removal, bound event history, and recheck published objects without starving checks under continuous stores. Use core hit coordination for a single sparse cache group, complete zero-transfer hits synchronously, and drain synchronous loads before FULL graph execution. Keep existing cancellation checks asynchronous. Co-authored-by: Codex <noreply@openai.com> Signed-off-by: CharlesWu <Charles.Wu@amd.com>
Check that BlockStoreBatch stores go through the worker's store_blocks fast path and the materialized fallback with the same rank-local keys and unchanged request metadata, without rewriting the scheduler's batch, and that a partly failed store suppresses publication and reports every object in the job as failed. Adapt test_embedded_runtime_register_store_and_load to the compact load/store batches: scheduler-built store metadata goes through a real worker into MemoryRuntime, and scheduler-built load metadata restores source blocks 1/2 into different destination blocks 5/6 on a separate worker, with byte equality checked for both layers and no stray writes. LGTM, thanks for the update! I also pushed two quick test additions to the branch:
-
Compact store (fast vs fallback): Verifies
BlockStoreBatchbehaves identically across both paths (same keys, metadata, scheduler batch, and success/failure handling). -
Byte round-trip is back: Updated
test_embedded_runtime_register_store_and_loadfor compact batches. Real workers push data throughMemoryRuntime, checking byte-for-byte parity on blocks 1/2 -> 5/6 with zero side effects.

This PR is split from the original full PR: #58568
Add compact whole-block load and store plans, plus transfer cancellation.
Coordinate asynchronous lookup with hybrid and Mamba groups. Full-attention hits stay prefix-closed, and Mamba or sparse groups restore their own state.
Add partial hash hits, KV events, eviction reporting, and transfer metrics.
Implementation only. These behaviors stay in the shared connector, above any runtime. Tests are in the next PR:
