WalkthroughChangesThe PR adds a fused CUDA operation for DeepEP-v2 receive-index globalization, MoE block alignment, and token sorting. It exposes the operation through stable bindings and Python wrappers, integrates deferred globalization into Humming indexed experts, and adds parameterized CUDA correctness tests. Scope cooperative-launch capacity caches by device and shared-memory size.
fgas_sm_count() and bps are cached across calls, but DeviceGuard allows calls on different devices and bps depends on smem. fgas_cooperative_blocks() can therefore select more resident cooperative blocks than the current device supports, causing cudaLaunchKernelEx to fail. Cache these values by device and dynamic shared-memory size.

Fuse the DeepEP-v2 INDEXED CUDA-graph decode metadata chain for HummingIndexedExperts and enable it by default when the prepare stage can defer globalization. The kernel reads the received-token count on device and sizes metadata by local experts. Choose between the capture-safe single-block and cooperative launches using weighted effective work, and cover both paths with CUDA-graph replay tests. Fuses the DeepEP-v2 INDEXED cudagraph-decode metadata chain (
_globalize_recv_topk_idx+moe_align_block_size+count_and_sort_expert_tokens) into a single CUDA launch for the Humming path.recv_topk_idxholds local expert ids; the kernel bins by local id (align/sort) while writing back the global id, and readsnum_recvon-device frompsum[-1]so it is CUDA-graph safe. Sizing by local (not global) experts shrinks the sentinel/expert_idsregion by ~ep_sizeunder EP. The fused kernel also produces the optional scatter index used by Humming for larger EP batches. The fused path is selected for CUDA Humming INDEXED experts when DeepEP-v2 defers globalization during CUDA-graph decode. Other paths keep the standalone globalization and alignment behavior.

After the October 12 rebase onto upstream commit
c599b5971:ruff checkandruff format --checkpassed on the six changed Python files; Appleclang-format21--dry-run --Werrorpassed on the changed CUDA/C++ files;git diff --checkpassed.git range-diffconfirmed that the functional patch is unchanged apart from adapting paths to upstream's newcsrc/moelayout. CI then found a stalelibtorch_stable/torch_utils.hinclude in the moved CUDA source; commit52d7e1c15changes it totorch_utils.h, matching the other MoE CUDA files. The corrected include and formatting were checked locally, but the CUDA build needs to rerun in CI. The pinnedclang-formatand mypy hooks passed on the prior October 7 base but were not rerun here..venv/bin/python -m pytest tests/kernels/moe/test_fused_globalize_align_block_size.py -vcould not run on the macOS rebase host. The test includes correctness cases for the optional scatter index.Pending on CUDA hardware:
_moe_C_stable_libtorchrebuild, the pytest run, and a model evaluation (for example gsm8k) with the fused path active. The kernel originated from a validated standalone prototype; the measurements above have not been repeated on the rebased code.Notes
