[Security] Include cache_salt in HF3FS external cache keys - #51748

HF3FS derived external cache keys from token IDs alone, allowing cross-salt cached-prefix membership inference when engines shared a metadata service. Thread cache_salt through scheduler state and worker metadata, inject it into the first block hash, and chain it through subsequent blocks. Version the empty-salt namespace so pre-fix entries cannot remain addressable. I don't quite understand. I thought the hash should already include cache_salt, right?

@chaunceyjiang One identity gap remains after the patch: the HF3FS formula still omits |
Five things from review, all in the tests-only package. One name-to-harness manifest replaces the HARNESSES list and the fixture's else-arm. An unknown parametrisation used to fall through to whichever harness the else named, so it passed while exercising a different connector; it now fails naming the known harnesses. The gate derives COVERED from that manifest instead of restating it, so covered means a harness runs the connector rather than a string claims one does. Re-derivation now wins the xfail branch, keyed on keys_from_block_hashes rather than a connector name. ExampleConnector-lora_version was marked with vllm-project#42125, but that arm also fails from re-derivation on its own, so it would have kept xfailing against a fixed bug once vllm-project#48352 lands and hidden the durable failure. The reason cites vllm-project#53496, the same standard the gate holds exempt re-derivers to. HF3FSKVConnector cites vllm-project#51748, which tracks the cache_salt half directly, and records that LoRA identity is dropped too and so is wider than that issue's scope. Reading the module path out of register_connector's loader closure now fails naming that coupling, verified against a functools.partial loader, rather than raising a bare KeyError that reads as a broken gate. Evidence pointers are checked to name a file that still exists, since the nixl split and the mooncake restructure are recent. Line numbers and wording are left unchecked so unrelated refactors do not touch this file. Signed-off-by: Shifat Islam Santo <shifatislamsanto764@gmail.com>
Summary
HF3FS external cache keys were derived from token IDs alone and omitted the per-request
cache_salt. Engines sharing an HF3FS metadata service could therefore alias the same exact prefix across different salts and expose cached-prefix membership through hit observability. This change:
