Allow realtime ASR sessions to pass optional language and prompt hints through the WebSocket stack so Qwen3-ASR can build the same guided prompt shape as REST transcription. This keeps existing realtime behavior unchanged when the new fields are absent and documents the client-facing options. In auto-detect mode the realtime stream emitted the model's internal `language <Name><asr_text>` per-segment preamble as literal delta text; the batch path strips this but the streaming path never did. Add an optional `language` field to `transcription.delta` / `transcription.done`, and a default no-op `clean_realtime_text` hook on `SupportsRealtime` so Voxtral and other realtime models are unaffected. Qwen3-ASR overrides the hook to strip every per-segment preamble and report the detected language as an ISO-639-1 code, withholding any trailing in-progress preamble. The connection streamer now emits clean deltas plus the language (falling back to the forced language) and clean final text. Backward compatible: the schema is additive and forced-mode text is unchanged. Hi, Just curious: why was this closed? As far as I can tell there's still no support for Qwen ASR for language hints on the realtime path, right? It would be nice to have it! |

@nielsreijers FYI: #61031 adds |
Purpose
Add per-session language and prompt support for Qwen3-ASR realtime WebSocket transcription, and clean the streamed ASR output contract.
This PR allows realtime STT clients to request a specific language via
session.update.languageusing ISO-639-1 codes such asen,zh,ja,ko,de,fr, andes. Omittinglanguage, sendingnull, or sending""keeps auto-detection behavior.It also surfaces language metadata in
transcription.delta.languageandtranscription.done.language, while stripping Qwen3-ASR's internal realtime preamble such aslanguage English<asr_text>from user-visible transcript text.This is not duplicating existing work: the related ASR language/prompt work did not cover the realtime WebSocket output contract and Qwen3-ASR realtime preamble cleanup path.
Documentation and the realtime example client were updated. This PR was developed with AI assistance and manually reviewed/tested.
