error TS2307: Cannot find module on GitHub Actions only

I use Vite 3.2.3 for my project with npm. I am getting below errors when running GitHub Action build. Build works fine on my local machine (Windows 11 x64). I checked character casing in paths and looks okay.

 Error: 15:16:19 [DBG] src/App.tsx(6,24): error TS2307: Cannot find module './pages/SignInPage' or its corresponding type declarations.
  Error: 15:16:19 [DBG] src/App.tsx(7,24): error TS2307: Cannot find module './pages/SignUpPage' or its corresponding type declarations.
  Error: 15:16:19 [DBG] src/App.tsx(8,22): error TS2307: Cannot find module './pages/HomePage' or its corresponding type declarations.
  Error: 15:16:19 [DBG] src/App.tsx(9,23): error TS2307: Cannot find module './pages/Forbidden' or its corresponding type declarations.
  Error: 15:16:19 [DBG] src/App.tsx(11,20): error TS2307: Cannot find module './pages/Layout' or its corresponding type declarations.

Ok I fixed it by renaming pages folder to uppercase Pages. I don't know why it cannot start with lowercase character, like other folders in my project (components, hooks etc.), it had problem with pages folder only.

In my case git hadn't detected a case sensitive change in my folder rename. So I run a two step git rename process

git mv Pages tmp
git mv tmp pages

Then commit the changed files and push.

In my case I had renamed multiple files and it would have been a PITA to rename all of them one-by-one, so I followed the steps in this Stack Overflow answer to fix the filename casing in git by running only two commands (git rm -r --cached . then git add --all .) and commit the changes.

Omg, that is why I hate macos sometimes lol.
This solved my issue.

I have been trying to solve this problem for DAYS and the solution happens to be as basic as this command, bruh:

git config core.ignorecase false
