Description

Adds the prerequisites for standalone turbo installation on macOS, Linux, and Windows and serves the installer scripts directly from the Turborepo documentation site.

/install or /install.ps1
  resolve latest stable GitHub release
  download the platform archive and SHA256SUMS
  verify the archive
  install turbo and configure PATH

release workflow
  create draft GitHub release
  upload archives and SHA256SUMS
  publish release

This also:

Packages standalone release archives for each supported target.
Keeps the GitHub release in draft state until all installer assets are attached.
Runs POSIX and Windows installer coverage in the release workflow.

User-facing installation documentation is intentionally deferred until the production endpoints and release assets have been verified.

Testing Instructions

Use the Vercel preview URL to verify that both public installer assets bypass documentation routing and retain their exact contents:

Do not execute the preview-hosted installers until a GitHub release containing the new standalone archives and SHA256SUMS has been published.
