Here are installation instructions for Zurfbirb depending on your operating system.

Following the installation, there is a Quickstart Usage Tutorial for getting started with an example site. The site is a random color generator with the ability to add comments, favorite and unfavorite colors, and inform the user of the pages browsed in the order the browsed them.

Remote Linux server install - domain name is optional

Covers all steps starting from zero! No domain name is required but instructions are included if you want to use one. This modular tutorial gives you options along the way for whether you want to set your Apache server with:

• all the security features you'd typically want for a long term site (e.g. firewall, ssh keys, etc)

or

• a quick tryout for a short time at an hourly computing provider - much faster setup, but no security features

Local installation for Windows, Apple or Linux
