- Allow users to update Tally (an Indian book keeping application like GnuCash) using the web application
- Provide a web service for the users to update from another application
- Store users' transactions locally to eliminate duplicate entries
- Allow entries to be stored locally if Tally is offline
- Multi-tenanted application to allow many users to use this to connect to multiple instances of Tally
