Installation

Method 1: Automatic (recommended)

  • Download the eClient Installer from the website or Releases.
  • Follow through the installer prompts. If anything goes wrong, report it here.

Note: Upon executing the installer, it may come up with a screen like this:

First Launch

After logging in to a Minecraft Account, you can (you'll never guess it) launch Minecraft.

  • At first, you will see this for the launch button:

image

  • This is because you haven't downloaded Minecraft yet (or didn't select an already downloaded Minecraft Version).
  • To do this head to the "Installations" tab. image
  • For the first launch, you should download an un-modded version of Minecraft, a.k.a. Vanilla.
  • Under the Run Options heading, select Vanilla.
  • Under the Vanilla heading, select the latest release (not snapshot).

image

  • Click the "Select Version" button.

  • Then, click the "Download" button.

  • It is recommended that you DO NOT leave the downloading page, as it causes Python to glitch out.

  • After installation, go to the Home tab and you should see this for the launch button:

image

  • Great! Now, go to the Settings tab and under the Minecraft Settings heading, change the memory allocation to AT-LEAST 3000 (three thousand) Megabytes (MB).
  • Then head to the Home tab again, click on the launch button, and enjoy Minecraft.
