DESCRIPTION OF CHANGES:

This PR:

  • Updates the Container chapter of the documentation to reflect the new process for running a container across nodes and with Rocoto.
  • Moves info on running with standalone scripts to the BuildRunSRW chapter's "Run" section.
  • Fixes minor details noticed elsewhere in the documentation (e.g., --rrfs option not rendering correctly on RTD).

Type of change

  • This change requires a documentation update

TESTS CONDUCTED:

None required. The process worked for @mark-a-potts and me on the following platforms:

  • hera.intel
  • orion.intel (did not attempt due to the cron/login-1 node requirement)
  • cheyenne.intel (Mark)
  • cheyenne.gnu (must use Intel compiler w/this container-explained in requirements section)
  • gaea.intel (singularity not installed/container not supported)
  • jet.intel
  • wcoss2.intel
  • NOAA Cloud (AWS, Azure)

DEPENDENCIES:

N/A

DOCUMENTATION:

All documentation!
