Problem/Feature

Fixes #230 and #232

Added safety checks to dereferencing a pointer. Fixes [Bug] API call for users/extensions panics #230
Changed APIResponse struct to generics, to help avoid casting assumptions. Fixes [Bug] Cannot use CLI against Get Extension Live Channels without extension_id #232
