the .glyphicons glyphicon-calendar class shows a plus sign meanwhile .glyphicons glyphicon-pushpin class shows a dot, instead their proper icons.

This has been fixed by #10778. Please upgrade to Bootstrap v3.0.1.

"glyphicon-calendar" shows nothing with Bootstrap 3.0.1 (Firefox 25.0 or Google Chrome 30). The others are working. Is this issue really fixed ?

@pihug12 Yes. Works just fine for me. Does it show up on the docs page for you?: http://twbs.github.io/bootstrap/components/#glyphicons
If yes, then most likely it's a deployment or markup problem on your end.

Hmm, just upgraded to 3.0.2 and now "glyphicon-calendar" shows nothing for me as well (Chrome 30). Verified broken in 3.0.1 as well. Was working fine for me under 3.0.0.

Again, works fine in both the docs and a BootstrapCDN-based JS Bin I just tested, so I'm betting it's a deployment issue on your end. Perhaps you updated the CSS but not the font files?

Circling back to update this thread incase anybody else runs into this. You are right @cvrebert, both the css AND the font files needed to be updated. Thank you!

@Isosceles Nope, the calendar icon is in the TTF:
glyphicons
