No. We did the restriction as a hot fix. We should remove the explicit dependency in a proper fix.

This pull request changes the compat entry for the
DiffEqBasepackage from6 - 6.143to6 - 6.143, 6.This keeps the compat entries for earlier versions.
Note: I have not tested your package with this new compat entry.
