Search for "My reMarkable seems to have become unresponsive, how do I fix it?"

Further steps you can take:

systemctl disable tarnish.service
systemctl start xochitl

Based on the output, it looks like toltec was not fully uninstalled, and there was likely error output in the toltecctl uninstall run that would have informed us on what went wrong. If you can get xochitl running again, please reinstall the same OS version you are on twice (https://remarkable.guide/faqs.html#can-i-downgrade-to-a-different-os-version) to make sure your root partition is in a stock state.
