Why?

In the next release, TFLint will depend on the Terraform's core packages to optimize implementation about Terraform's features (such as configuration loading, variable merging, and so on). For that reason, it refers to many of Terraform's implementations about loading modules and using APIs.

Terraform is licensed under the MPL 2.0. In MPL 2.0, "Large Work" (which refers to this project) must be distributed under that license or "Secondary Licenses" (See section 3.3).

From the above, I'm planning to change the license of this project from MIT to MPL 2.0.

Does it affect users?

No. It will be distributed with the same license as Terraform, so there is no impact on users generally.

Does it affect contributors?

Yes. The codes written by contributors will now be licensed as the MPL 2.0, not the MIT license. I hope to obtain the consent of all contributors as much as possible, but in reality it may be difficult. For that reason, I will merge this pull request at a later time.
