What was changed

  • Change (3.9, 3.13) to (3.10, 3.14) in CI.
  • Update mypy and pyright to latest, fix or suppress new issues
  • Remove python 3.9 specific checks/workarounds

Why?

Python 3.14 is now stable, and 3.9 has reached end of life.
