In the documentation for Reporting product makes sense to explain how the UserIdentity works in Reporting scenarios, not in Report Server ones.
I'd expect to read here how the UserIdentity expression behaves when executed in web and desktop applications that utilize Reporting, and in which scenarios its properties will not be initialized/populated.
Once the second part of the task - the Report Server article - is done, you can put a link to it here to improve the SEO.
