Real quick:

1. Install OpenBSD
2. Run rrdtool installer chroot_rrdtool.sh
3. Run perl installer chroot_perl.sh
4. Run fping installer chroot_fping.sh
5. Run smokeping installer chroot_smokeping.sh

Last status:

Works ok, except fping doesn't seem to want to run in the chroot environment.
