Interactive Claude Code skill that walks AI engineers through deploying any standard agent from agentic-starter-kits to Red Hat OpenShift.

7-phase guided workflow:

  1. Prerequisites check (oc, helm, make, podman/docker)
  2. Agent selection (auto-detect or menu of 9 standard agents)
  3. OpenShift login and project selection
  4. Model endpoint config with cluster discovery and model listing
  5. Container build (local+push or in-cluster via BuildConfig)
  6. Helm deploy with dry-run preview
  7. Verification (health check + /chat/completions test) and showcase

Key features:

  • Uses repo's make commands exclusively (never raw oc/helm)
  • Auto-discovers LlamaStack/vLLM services on the cluster
  • Queries /models endpoint to list available MODEL_IDs
  • Checkpoint-aware: skips completed steps on re-invocation
  • Retry-at-failure with diagnosis and suggested fixes
  • Progress messages for long-running builds and deploys

Files:

  • .claude/skills/deploy-agent-openshift/SKILL.md (main skill)
  • .claude/skills/deploy-agent-openshift/references/model-endpoints.md
  • .claude/skills/deploy-agent-openshift/references/error-diagnosis.md

- Return HTTP 503 from /health when agent is uninitialized so K8s
  readiness probes correctly gate traffic (8 agents, audit #5)
- Bind local dev servers to 127.0.0.1 to prevent DNS rebinding
  attacks; container Dockerfiles remain at 0.0.0.0 (audit #36)
- Standardize FastAPI to >=0.135.1 across all agents (audit #33)
- Bump uvicorn in mcp_automl_template to >=0.41.0 (audit #34)
- Remove env:init dependency in react_with_database_memory (audit red-hat-data-services#46)
- Update post-helm-migration-audit.md (14 resolved, 4 accepted)

feat: add PR labeler workflow with path and size labels
- Fix image exclusion to match nested directories at any depth
  (agents/*/images/*, etc.) instead of only top-level images/*
- Only catch 404 in ensure_label_exists, re-raise 403/429/500
- Pin PyGithub==2.6.0 to avoid supply-chain risk in pull_request_target
- Add warning step when size labeling fails for better observability
