Contributing

Thank you for wanting to contribute to LanguageTool.nvim. Feel free to open issues or PR for the following reasons.

Short-term goals

There is many ways to contribute to this project:

  • Adding new ftplugin to add more markup-extraction rules
  • Fixing bugs
  • Adding features

Long-term goals

On goal of the project is to better integrate with neovim. Thus the current plan is to set LanguageTool.nvim as a remote plugin, is Java (as LanguageTool is written in Java).

The branch holding the remote plugin is currently not available, but will soon.
