Recent Queries Window is Transparent #147
Comments
What happens if you toggle the window off and back on via the recent button in the toolbar? |
It goes away but comes back transparent not sure if you can see in the
screenshot but there's a faint line on the right edge that is the reason
window overlaying the main window

I haven't been able to reproduce this yet on 12.3.1 / Intel. I don't have an M1 mac to test with. I'll keep poking at it. Does the details window work okay or is it the same? Any idea what you were doing when this problem started? |
Recorded a short vid here <https://www.screencast.com/t/Tsq9yDvbKHO>
showing the problem a little better. I'm not sure if the details window
works or doesn't..I've never used it and don't know what is supposed to be
in there. I don't recall anything unusual or when it started.
Nothing else was impacted that I was aware of.

The details window looks fine, it shows the table contained in it. If you clicked on an object or field in the left hand object list it'd show more details about that in the details window. Which is even weirder as they both use the same code to show/hide |
I just tried out the details tab, clicked on an object to see what
would show and went back to the recent tab and now it's no longer
transparent. I didn't restart or anything. Not even the soqlx app, it was
right where I left after taking the video...

Well, it went back to being transparent, but only for 2 of the 12+ accounts I use. Perhaps coincidentally both of those accounts are the only 2 I use MFA for. Also, for these 2 accounts only, the app was overly slow. Like anytime you run a query 5s+ in responding to the query button click. I ended up uninstalling and re-installing and now I can see the recent queries tab for those 2 accounts and its back to being its snappy self for all accounts. Hopefully it stays that way. Curiously, when i fired it up after the re-install all my accounts were still there. Something must have gotten sideways somewhere. |
Recent queries window is transparent. Behavior has persisted for multiple days. Have entirely shut down everything and restarted multiple times and same behavior. Running on Mac m1 monterey 12.2.1
