The idea here would be similar to how TabZen offers both a toolbar button and a sidebar view, we could display the window & tab list in the sidebar. The idea was mentioned in #18, among a couple other display options.

For anybody wanting to test this new feature - you can do so with this add-on : tab-manager-plus-5.2.0.firefox.zip

Pardon my ignorance, how would you test with that? I'm used to xpi files, but it said the file was corrupt when I tried to add the zip, and still said that when I renamed the zip to xpi.

@keeganwitt no worries.

  1. go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox and use Load Temporary Add-On...

It's also possible to get there through the add-ons page, but that can be confusing as it has the option to install add-ons from file, which fails. Instead you'd have to do the extra click on Debug Add-Ons.

  1. go to about:addons :

  1. Then click on the cog, and Debug Add-Ons.

  1. On the next page Load Temporary Add-On... and select the .zip file.

Ah, thank you, I'll give it a go. One thing I noticed right off was that the circle on the toggles doesn't quite line up (Firefox 76.0)

I also noticed the scrollbar on the bottom (that scrolls right and left) doesn't seem to do anything.

Lastly, maybe the search bar should be relocated? It's a bit narrow, especially if you don't have the sidebar expanded all the way.

Thanks for working on this!
