When a field descriptor is reused its type may be polluted leading to unexpected FieldTypesDoNotMatchException

This was discovered by @snicoll when working on some documentation for Spring Boot's Actuator. The changes made for #276 mean that a test may set a descriptor's type and that type being set then has an adverse effect on a subsequent test.
