I see that the Spring Kafka issue is fixed.
But I think we need to wait for the release of Spring Kafka 4.0.0-M4 (8/18) to start working on this, right?

No, we don’t need that. We use its SNAPSHOT and we know that we upgrade to that Milestone before our release next day.
