To be honest, I'm not a fan of this idea. Why specifically Ukrainian? This way, we could end up with around 200 similar lists for different countries. I would much prefer a general "IT communities" list with a breakdown by country within the list |
If this list helps folks to find a local community, it worths to be a separate list. Not everyone knows English, not everyone has a privilege of traveling. If other folks would create their local lists, why not? Are you worried about the disk space on GitHub servers, @MaxGripe ? Besides, there 193 sovereign countries recognized by UN. So, 200 is a bit of an overreach :) Moreover, how can they be similar if they are bound to a location? Topic-wise, yes. However, there are several very similar AI/ML related lists already and no one seems to bother. P.S. Why Ukraine? Because I’m Ukrainian. Feel free to submit a list with your local communities. The Internet is a free space. |
Sure, no worries. It was just a suggestion |
I do half agree with @MaxGripe's point. I'm not opposed to this list as it stands, but a more global "Local IT communities" list would be great! Something like:

I agree with the suggestion that it would be better to make a single |
Adding a list of Ukrainian IT Communities.
Ukrainian IT Communities
This is a list of Ukrainian communities such as forums, Telegram and Slack chats, and offline platforms that cover topics of programming, data science, QA, DevOps, and software engineering practices in general.
By submitting this pull request I confirm I've read and complied with the below requirements 🖖
Please read it multiple times. I spent a lot of time on these guidelines and most people miss a lot.
Requirements for your pull request
Try to prioritize unreviewed PRs, but you can also add more comments to reviewed PRs. Go through the below list when reviewing. This requirement is meant to help make the Awesome project self-sustaining. Comment here which PRs you reviewed. You're expected to put a good effort into this and to be thorough. Look at previous PR reviews for inspiration. Just commenting “looks good” or simply marking the pull request as approved does not count! You have to actually point out mistakes or improvement suggestions. Comments pointing out lint violation are allowed, but does not count as a review.
