Import an existing account

If you're already using SponsorBlock you should import your account. To do this you need to find your user id and set it in the Add-on settings. Refer to the Finding your user id section to find out how to get your id.

The user id setting is located in the "API" category with the name "User ID". To see this setting your Settings Level needs to be "Advanced" or above.

If you already used the extension you will find that the user id is already set. Don't hesitate to replace it with your own user id.

If you're using the SponsorBlock browser extension you can export the user id by following these steps:

1. Open the SponsorBlock "Options" page.
2. Scroll down to find the button "Import/Export Your UserID". Press it to reveal your user id.
3. Copy the user id.
