The primary change of this release is updating the dependency of
go.opentelemetry.io/otel*packages fromv0.19.0tov0.20.0and similarlygo.opentelemetry.io/contrib*package fromv0.19.0tov0.20.0. This includes a fix in the Jaeger exporter. This fix removes the duplicate batching that the exporter implemented. Now theBatchSpanProcessorthatdistroconfigures by default will not experience an impedence mismatch with this duplicate batching.Changed
