trading: the desk's data-integrity glue rule (Layer 1.5) in the trading AGENTS.md - #827
Conversation
…ng AGENTS.md The command center's item task-native-agent-stack-5f-20261007T050116Z (section 2) relays the owner's 2026-10-07 ruling, paraphrased: foundation layers stay free of custom code; the trading desk may close a data-integrity gap (a CIK identity map, split verification, delisting and terminal-price resolution, survivorship) with glue built from cited SOTA references and the platform repositories, only after the upstream features (NautilusTrader's data catalog and adjustments, EdgarTools' CIK and ticker maps, alpaca-py's corporate-actions endpoint, Lean's map and factor files, vendor feeds) are installed and used first, accepted only by a historical-data end-to-end backtest through the upstream engine, and no strategy number is citable before that backtest passes. …at cover the gap The Codex connector's P1 on #827: read literally, the paragraph made every listed upstream feature (both engines, alpaca-py, Lean files, any vendor feed) a prerequisite for any glue, even ones that cannot help with the gap at hand. The prerequisite is now the upstream features that cover that gap, and the glue may cover only what they demonstrably leave open; the list is examples. blueprints/us-equities/AGENTS.md. It covers when the trading desk may build its own data-integrity glue ("Layer 1.5"), and how that glue is accepted.task-native-agent-stack-5f-20261007T050116Z, section 2).
