Some examples I liked
-
Prevention routiere
- I like the squares with the information
- I like the filters on the left (transportation type, age, etc.)
- Fiches Auto
- Year by year comparison
- Month by month comparison [implemented]
- Time of the day distribution [Implemented]
- This would allow to visualize whether fatalities tend to occur during commute hours, outside of work, party hours, etc.
- Week day distribution [Implemented]
- Mostly useful to compare Mon-Fri to Sat-Sun
- Implement a full screen mode that could be used to display graphs
- Useful at events like "Bike to work day", "Day of remembrance" or any Bike Austin, Farm and City, Vision Zero event
APD only gives access to 2 years of data. The archive data sets are anonymized. As a result we cannot mix them up together.
A solution is to create 2 different views: APD
and Archive
.
The APD is the main screen of the current dashboard.
It would be similar to the APD view. The main difference would be that we would not have the we won't have First Name
,Last Name
, Ethnicity
, Gender
, DOB
, Age
information.
Differences:
- The table may go away, or the set of columns be redefined as we won't have the identification information
- Gender, Ethnicity and Age distribution graphs will go away for the same reason
- New graphs to add:
- Year to year
- Transportation mode
- Cause
